Biography
Andy is an audit partner in KPMG's Financial Services practice, with over 25 years of professional experience, with major banks, foreign bank subsidiaries, insurance companies, investment dealers, credit union organizations, and investment funds. He is the author of the annual publication: 'Financial Statements of Canadian Banks' produced by KPMG in Canada and frequently lectures on financial services accounting matters to groups of regulators, financial service organization management and KPMG member firms' staff. As a qualified CPA in the United States, Andy has advised several financial institutions on matters pertaining to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial statements and securities filings. During his career Andy has been a member of the audit team for eight of the ten largest banks operating in Canada.
