Biography

Scott is a partner in KPMG in the US. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. He is an SEC reviewing partner with responsibilities that include consulting with engagement teams and clients on accounting matters or resolving issues with the SEC. Scott spent two years as a practice fellow with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), which involved technical consultation on several of the FASB's projects interacting with the SEC. He is an industry commentator and frequently speaks and writes on issues facing the financial services industry and in particular on issues relating to insurance.
