Biography
Brendan is Global Chairman of KPMG's Financial Services Practice and also Vice Chairman of KPMG in the UK. He is one of five Global Industry Chairman within the organization, and responsible for the financial services practice across the global network. Brendan has played a significant role in the development of the profession's approach to the audit of banks in the UK with particular emphasis on establishing auditing standards of banks audits. Brendan was the first professional accountant to be appointed as a member of the Practitioner Panel, a UK statutory body that provides industry oversight to the UK Financial Services Authority and served six years as a panel member. He has recently been appointed to the Board of the Financial Services Skills Council in the UK.
